The Citadelles du Vin international wine competition was held on March 30, 2025 in Bourg-sur-Gironde, near Bordeaux, from where the new batches of Bock Valér returned home with a gold medal.

The event celebrated the 25th anniversary of the high-level competition, organized since 2000 by the C.D.V. (Concours Des Vins), which is known for its independence and rigor. The competition is also supported by the OIV (International Organization of Vine and Wine). On its 25th anniversary, the competition kept its promise and welcomed 45 tasters from 21 different nationalities. The results, as always, reflected the richness and diversity of world wine production: 120 wines were awarded prizes out of 433 competing samples from 21 countries.
